Mayor of Hounslow Paul Lynch was among 120 guests at a Christmas tea at Longford Community School.
The school hall was transformed for the festive season and guests were served a meal by students and treated to excerpts from the school pantomime, Alladin, and a performance by the school choir.
The annual Christmas fair at Christ Church in Hanworth Road raised £2,000 on Saturday November 28.
Money raised at the event, which was organised by the joint fund raising committee of St.Dunstan's and the United Free Church, will be shared between the two churches for their general upkeep.
Hundreds of children met Santa Claus in his grotto at the Centre in Feltham over the last two weekends.
Mayor of Hounslow Councillor Paul Lynch was on hand to help Santa with presents and pose for photos with families doing their Christmas shopping in the town.
Stilt-walkers dressed as 12ft reindeer also have been bringing the town to life and on Saturday 19 December there will be an acrobatic roller-skating elf and performances from the local community groups including the Oasis Church Choir and the Choral Society at the Centre.
Age Concern will be holding a Christmas bazaar at Feltham Lodge on Saturday November 28.
The charity will be holding the annual event at its home in Harlington Road West between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

A memorial to Freddie Mercury will be unveiled by Queen's Brian May at a ceremony on Tuesday(24) in Feltham.
The tribute to Freddie will take the form of a Hollywood-style star and hundreds of fans are expected to make the trip to see May and Mercury's family pay tribute on the 18th anniversary of the rock star's death.
An Edwardian evening will be held at Christ Church in Feltham on Saturday November 14 at 7pm.

The Mayor Councillor Paul Lynch, Deputy Mayor Councillor Barbara Harris and Lord Bilimoria, Deputy Lieutenant of Hounslow will attend a service of dedication at the War Memorial, with a parade starting at 2.30pm in Victoria Road, Feltham.
A Halloween event will take place and Southville Community Centre on Saturday(31) between 4pm and 8pm.
All are welcome at the free event, which will feature live fire acts, face painting, arts and crafts, karaoke competition and food.
