The entry, masterminded by Feltham Arts Association (FAA), featured a succession of performers, dancers and musicians showcasing their cultural traditions and costumes and was led by a group of young sports people carrying world flags.

The movie, which features the debut performance of young Hanworth actor Aaron Pandher, was shot in West London last summer.

AFTER months of rehearsals the curtain is finally set to go up on Feltham Community College's production of Annie.

The catchy musical about orphan Annie and her friends in cruel Miss Hannigan's orphanage will be performed on Wednesday (February 8) and Thursday (February 9) at the Browell's Lane school.

There are still a few remaining tickets which can be bought on the door or at the school reception.

Tickets are priced at £2.50 for adults, £2 for children or £7 for a family of four.

FELTHAM families are being offered the chance to make 2012 a year of fitness and fun, thanks to a range of new nutrition and exercise classes.

The 10-week MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition...Do it!) programme kicked off this week at Feltham Assembly Hall, although families can still take advantage of the free sessions.

ART lovers are being invited to take part in a special course focusing on work from across the globe.

The six-week Arts from Around the World course is being run as part of Feltham Arts Association's Feltham Festival.

RICHMOND Housing Partnership (RHP), which manages properties on Hanworth's Butts Farm estate, is offering its customers free training.

In response to feedback from residents, the partnership has organised a variety of courses and training over the coming months to help those looking for work to brush up on their skills.

The event will give volunteers the chance to gain experience in conservation, meet like-minded people and give something back to the park.

Attendees should meet at the Information Centre at 10am and should bring clothes suitable for the weather, sturdy footwear, plenty to drink and some lunch.

The Snakey Lane centre is inviting residents who have gone tinsel tastic to enter their yuletide masterpieces into the Best Dressed Christmas Tree competition.

The event, from 7.30pm on Wednesday (December 14), will give voters the chance to meet Mr Charalambous and ask questions about the party's policies.
