Mayor of Hounslow Paul Lynch was among 120 guests at a Christmas tea at Longford Community School.
The school hall was transformed for the festive season and guests were served a meal by students and treated to excerpts from the school pantomime, Alladin, and a performance by the school choir.
Hundreds of children met Santa Claus in his grotto at the Centre in Feltham over the last two weekends.
Mayor of Hounslow Councillor Paul Lynch was on hand to help Santa with presents and pose for photos with families doing their Christmas shopping in the town.
Stilt-walkers dressed as 12ft reindeer also have been bringing the town to life and on Saturday 19 December there will be an acrobatic roller-skating elf and performances from the local community groups including the Oasis Church Choir and the Choral Society at the Centre.
Age Concern will be holding a Christmas bazaar at Feltham Lodge on Saturday November 28.
The charity will be holding the annual event at its home in Harlington Road West between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

A memorial to Freddie Mercury will be unveiled by Queen's Brian May at a ceremony on Tuesday(24) in Feltham.
The tribute to Freddie will take the form of a Hollywood-style star and hundreds of fans are expected to make the trip to see May and Mercury's family pay tribute on the 18th anniversary of the rock star's death.
An Edwardian evening will be held at Christ Church in Feltham on Saturday November 14 at 7pm.
Tickets for the event, which is part of the Hanworth Road church's centenary celebration, cost £5 and are available by calling Mark Savage on 020 88902556 or Alan Cuthbert on 020 85715102.
A Halloween event will take place and Southville Community Centre on Saturday(31) between 4pm and 8pm.
All are welcome at the free event, which will feature live fire acts, face painting, arts and crafts, karaoke competition and food.

Free Halloween mask-making workshops will be held at The Centre in Feltham on Wednesday(28).
Booking is not necessary for the sessions, which will take place in the Community Rooms near Feltham Library between 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.
QUEEN guitarist Brian May is to visit Feltham for the unveiling of a memorial to former bandmate Freddie Mercury.
The big-haired rocker will be guest-of-honour at the ceremony on November 24 in which a Hollywood-style star will be laid in tribute to his flamboyant friend, who died of AIDS in 1991. Mercury's mother Jer Bulsara and sister Kash Cooke have also said they will attend the event.
The family lived in Gladstone Avenue in Feltham for 10 years in the 1960s and 70s and Mercury studied art at Isleworth polytechnic, which is now West Thames College.
A fun day at Frank Towell court in Feltham brought smiles to the faces of residents who had never met before.
Tenants brought some good old-fashioned community spirit to the Glebelands Road estate last week, enjoying a bouncy castle, teacups, a raffle, tombola and face painting.
About 50 people who live in the flats attended the first event of its kind and were treated to cuisines from all over the world by their neighbours.
An information day for disabled adults will take place at Hounslow Council civic centre on Friday September 11 between 11am and 3pm.
The council and representatives from the voluntary sector will be on hand to give advice about service that are available and to find out what services the people of Hounslow would like introduced.
