A MIDDLE-aged Feltham man is facing jail for running a brothel.

Bruce Chipping, of Fruen Road, admitted selling sex with prostitutes from a premises in Church Road, Ashford at Guildford Crown Court on Monday.

Ryan Irvine, of Feltham, cannot enter any part of the town centre shopping complex, including footpaths and car parks, in the area bounded by the High Street, Highfield Road, Tilley Road and Bedfont Lane.

A brazen thief robbed a cyclist of his phone and then tried to sell it back to him for £10.

Mohammed Hazara, of Sparrow Farm Drive, Feltham, admitted taking a phone and cigarettes from William Smith at Guildford Crown Court last Monday.

The court heard that Hazara, 19, forced Mr Smith to empty his pockets as he was cycling in Guildford, Surrey on October 10 before saying: "I'll sell the phone back to you for a tenner."

Hazara, who has previous convictions for disorderly behaviour and assault on a police officer, was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing on January 8.

Jewellers hit in £400,000 robbery

Four masked robbers stole £400,000 worth of gold and diamonds from two jewellery dealers just outside the one-star hotel they were staying in.

The dealers were leaving the Hounslow Hotel in Hounslow Road, Feltham when they were ambushed by their attackers, who punched them in the face before taking their backpacks containing the jewellery.

Old photos, plaques, trophies and ties were destroyed in the fire at the Hanworth Air Park pavilion and the club are asking for financial contributions or replacement memorabilia to decorate the building once it is refurbished.

Boris unveils new wing at FYOI

Boris Johnson and Jack Straw put aside party political rivalries to launch a new wing at Feltham Young Offenders Institute last Thursday.

The Tory Mayor and the Justice Minister visited the new Heron Wing, which is designed to cut youth crime by increasing education, training and counselling for young criminals.
