Schools thank Tesco for equipment

HOU131109tvtesco01.JPGMP Alan Keen visited Tesco in Feltham to celebrate the supermarket's contribution to local schools.

Representatives from five Hounslow schools were also at the High Street store to thank staff for the equipment they received as part of the Tesco for Schools & Clubs campaign.

Between March and June shoppers received vouchers they could donate to a club or school of their choice, who then chose equipment including painting accessories, sports kit and computer software.

Store manager Nikki Millard said: "This a scheme that my team are proud to be part of. Thousands of customers have been collecting vouchers to help their local schools and clubs get this new equipment - showing what can happen when a whole community gets involved."

We'd like to hear from you.

Alan Keen and Tesco - what a pair.

One has been caught trying to peddle overhyped wares of dubious quality whilst trying to pass them off as fresh and legitimate...

and the other is a large retail chain based in Cheshunt.
