Feltham badminton star launches new stamps

A Feltham badminton star launched a set of stamps featuring Olympic sports this week to promote London 2012.

English champion Rajiv Ouseph, who is rated as one of Britain's best badminton hopes for 2012, returned to the British Airways Concorde Centre in Cranford - where he learnt to play as a child - for the launch.

Badminton is one of 10 sports featured on the Royal Mail stamps, which went on sale last week.

Badminton England chief executive Adrian Christy said: "We are delighted that Rajiv is helping to promote this set of Olympic stamps, especially as he is the one Londoner currently in our GB squad. He has made great strides in the last year and that is reflected in his tournament successes and his impressive climb up the world rankings."
