Rotary Voyage for Longford Student

Longford Community School student Stuart Langdon addressed a meeting of the Feltham Rotary Club following his successful trip aboard a "tall ship".
Stuart, who was this year's recipient of Rotary's award, sailed with the Jubilee Sailing Trust on the sailing ship Tenacious.
The JST is a registered charity that owns and operates Lord Nelson and Tenacious, the only two tall ships in the world designed and built to enable people of all physical abilities to sail side-by-side as equals.
Stuart spoke about the challenge and adventure of sailing the tall ship on the open sea and impressed Rotarians and their guests with his presentation.
Stuart, who after university wishes to choose the Army and Politics for his career, considers this to be one of the most exciting things that he has done in his life.
