Pat Kirkwood visits Feltham Rotary

Pat co-ordinates local schools in the area who are working together to provide "Extended Services" in and around schools. This programme helps schools to work in partnership with a wide range of organisations to do more than provide classroom education for children.

Schools can play a part in ensuring there is childcare available for school-age children, help make available activities for children in their "out-of-school" time, support parents bringing up their children, make appropriate facilities available for wider community use and help connect families to agencies providing specialised support.

Feltham Rotary is happy to support young people's initiatives in this area.
