Head Teacher visits Rotary

Posted by Feltham Rotary Club on Feb 21, 09 05:00 PM in Clubs/societies

Victoria Eadie, Head Teacher of Feltham Community College made her first visit to Feltham Rotary Club since taking over from Gillian Smith last year.

Speaking to members of both Rotary and Inner Wheel, she was able to outline her plans to meet the Government's requirements for secondary education and said she was most confident that the college would be successful in its academic aspirations.

Ms Eadie had great faith in her staff and said that she considered that the college now had the very best teachers.

Rotary and Inner Wheel, who have a long history of supporting the college, welcomed the opportunity to question the Head Teacher about her plans and were very pleased with her response.

Rotary for their part, were able to say that as part of their Community Programme they will continue to finance the KidsOut day for the physically disabled students and will offer support for the college's Old People's Christmas Party.

In a vote of thanks, the President Miles Hamlin said that the Club would be pleased to accept Ms Eadie's invitation to visit the college and wished her every success in her endeavours.
