Santa drops into scout bazaar
Young scouts were thrilled by an early sighting of Santa at a winter fete last weekend.
The families had flocked to the fundraising event for 10th Feltham Scout Group and were greeted at the door by the very special guest.
"Some of the kids were very excited as it's the first time this year for most of them," said fundraising chairwoman Carol Davis. "We had a great afternoon and although it's hard work we always have a lot of fun."
Early shoppers could pick up plenty of festive bargains at the scout headquarters, in Hawkes Road, off Bedfont Lane. There were also stalls for bric-a-brac, new clothes and games, as well as a huge raffle and tombola.
The event raised £554 all of which will be spent on the group's running costs. Scouting sessions are available to girls and boys, of any religion or background, aged six to 20.
