Charity day pays off for neo-natal at St Peters
Bill Ryan and co from Feltham Youth FC Raised a whopping £1300 after the club raised £450 from their charity day in September, Alperton Lodge heard of the work and donated another £250 presented by Alan Taylor and Bill's dad and the rest of the Ryan family donated the remaining £600.
The cheques were presented to Dr Crawshaw the neonatal paediatrician who expressed his gratitutude and explianed that this would be going into the fund to help replace some much needed incubators, exactly like the type Bill's son Michael had used for a month when he was in the unit just after birth.
Both Baby Michael and family are now doing well and Feltham Youth Fc are going from strength to strength with there move towards charter standard as well as a couple of new teams ready to start.
Anyone wishing to make a donation or help out with Feltham Youth Fc should contact Bill on br-fyfc@hotmail.com or meet the managers at Feltham park (behind the assembly hall) on a saturday morning.
We'd like to hear from you. Send your stories, pics and videos
