Stacie's a fair maiden

It was third time lucky for a young mum whose birth was so quick her baby girl was almost born in a taxi.

Stacie Hassen, of St Catherine's Court, Feltham, gave birth to 6lb 10oz Caitlin at West Middlesex Hospital on July 16.

She said her daughter was certainly a quicker and easier birth than her first two, adding: "I got to the hospital at 6.45 and she was born at 7.15, I thought I was going to have her in the cab."

Stacie and her partner, builder Edward Reilly, 27, certainly have their hands full, as the proud couple already have a two-year-old boy and a one-year-old girl.

However Stacie says the new addition has slipped seamlessly into the family.

"She has been fantastic. She just sleeps and eats, and the other two have been great with her," she added.

Stacie was heavily pregnant on her 21st birthday earlier this month and could not celebrate properly.

So the family are planning a joint party for her and the girls as their birthdays are so close together.
